I really like Sonai King's mosaic. The use of colors slowly fading from one to the other is supperbly done, and the draws the peice together. With the use of assymettircal your eye is drawn the the focal point at the top right (warm colors) and is drawn to the bottom left as the colors fade into one another. Also king leaves no white space, even the lines between the colors  has a color. I think that this kind of art is very beatiful.

6. personal interest (musica)

Recently I got over 2000 songs from my friend Charley. Right now at this moment im going through and have not even gone through 200 songs. The vast majority are techno bands such as Basshunter, Dubstep, and many various others. My favorites have been those performed by Dubstep, and some covers done by Asking Alexandria. My Itunes Library at this point is roughly 2750 songs... soon to be less hopefully. A few songs are very strange such as those songs performed by Avenue Q. And that's what is hapeening at this point in time. I looked into the band Basshunter since i was not fimilar with them and found out that they are actually quite popular, or in more accurate terms, "he" is very popular.

1. Untilited Mandala

This artwork was done by Sam Francis. I personally like the way the artist used shape and color to make a unique inage. He uses a simple square then has splattreing of color around the squares and coming off them, making all the squares blend, and yet be seperate. The emphasis for this artwork for me was the white square in the middle, the squares lead the eye to that point. There's also a stark contrast between the gaps in the squares. The use of the elements and principles have been expertly put together to make a vrey unique good artowork.

5. RIse Against

This article offered a much deeper view into the band's new album than I knew before. The new album "Endgame" was #1 un Germany, Canada, and many of the #1 U.S. billboard positoins. ... #2 overall. This has been the largest amount of recognition on any one album for them.

Also I found out that the band takes strong positions against bullying, homophobes, harming the envirorment, and of course government. A radical band, they have started have a massive fan base and continues to grow.

This Article is an interview with lead singer/gutarist Tim McIlarth. Extremely good views on government, fans, and beliefs of his own. I found it very insightful into the band and its members. This interview is over a year old though, but its validity still holds true though.

6. Corruption of the Church in the Middle Ages

The church, an institution that has little to do with actual Christianity. This institution was established roughly 1000A.D. by emperor Constantine when he made Christianity the official religion of Rome. The ideas of Christianity that Jesus preached have been misconstrued throughout the years. This has lead to false beliefs that rule the Roman Catholic church today. One example is during the dark ages when bibles were written only in Latin and the monks/priests were the only ones capable of reading them allowing for misinterpretation and corruption within the church. So the church, especially the Roman Catholic has lead people down the wrong path for thousands of years, through the inventions of indulgences (a way of buying your sin away) and other deviations. The pope has almost replaced the position of God. So in my opinion church is a place where believers gather together, not a building, or an institution, or a city (ex:Vatican City). The church is corrupt, rotten, and in need of reformation.
